At just 12 years old, I've had the incredible opportunity to bring one of Roald Dahl's most beloved characters to life on stage – none other than the chocolate-loving Augustus Gloop!
One of the most exciting parts of bringing "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" to life on stage is the friendships you make along the way. There's something truly special about coming together with a group of talented individuals who share your passion for theatre. The bonds we've formed both on and off stage have made this experience truly unforgettable.
Now, you might be wondering why I was drawn to the role of Augustus Gloop. Well, let me tell you – it's all about his funny and bright characteristics! From his insatiable appetite for chocolate to his larger-than-life personality, Augustus is a character that's impossible not to love.
When it comes to my favourite scene or moment in the show, it has to be "Strike That, Reverse It." It's a wild and wacky scene that never fails to bring a smile to my face. Plus, it's just so much fun to be a part of – the energy on stage is electric!
Now, let's talk chocolate. While I don't have a favourite chocolate brand, I'm a big fan of dark chocolate in general. There's something about its rich and intense flavour that I just can't resist.
If I could invent a new chocolate bar or sweet, it would definitely be a dark chocolate bar with banana chips mixed in. I mean, who wouldn't love that combination of chocolate and fruit?
In conclusion, my journey with "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" has been an incredible adventure filled with laughter, friendship, and of course, plenty of chocolate!
