Let me start by saying that the rehearsal process is an exhilarating rollercoaster ride. From the first read-through to polishing our performances, witnessing the show evolve from rehearsal to performance is nothing short of magical. The camaraderie among the cast and crew, the dedication to bringing the story to life – it's a whirlwind of creativity and excitement that never fails to captivate me.
As Mrs. Bucket, I'm thrilled to be part of this whimsical adventure. I hope that our audience will have as much fun watching the show as we have performing it! After all, what's not to love about a heartwarming tale filled with laughter, music, and, of course, plenty of chocolate?
Speaking of chocolate, my absolute favourite indulgence is Cadbury's Marvellous Creations. There's something truly enchanting about the burst of flavours and textures in every bite – a little taste of heaven, if you ask me!
But beyond the sweet treats and stage lights, I believe that local theatre plays a vital role in our communities. It's a chance to bring people together, to ignite imaginations, and to provide opportunities for those who may not have had the chance otherwise. This marks my first show with CAODS, and I couldn't be more excited to be part of such a vibrant and welcoming theatre community.
A little about me – I hold a degree in Musical Theatre and recently spent a summer working at a summer camp in New York, where I had the opportunity to share my passion for performance with young aspiring artists. Now, I'm thrilled to bring that same passion to the stage with "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."
