A Night to Remember: William’s Review of My Fair Lady at Curve Theatre

This is my blog post/review of the Leicester production of My Fair Lady that I saw at the Curve Theatre on Friday, 3rd January 2025, with Eira, Dawn, and Lewis from CAODS.

It was absolutely outstanding, especially the performances from the cast, including the brilliant actors who played Eliza, Henry, and Alfred. The sets, choreography, and classic songs, including Get Me to the Church on Time, With a Little Bit of Luck, On the Street Where You Live, Wouldn’t It Be Lovely, and I Could Have Danced All Night, made this production unforgettable.

This is now my third favourite musical set in the UK, and it’s certainly one of the best productions of My Fair Lady I’ve ever seen.

Before the show, I picked up the souvenir programme, and after the performance, we had the chance to get signatures, selfies, and hugs from the two actors who played Eliza and Higgins, which was a lovely way to end the night.

Curve Theatre remains one of my favourite venues in England—every show here is an experience to remember!
